From the broad, triangle-shaped rim to the curling shank end, the stummel displays a steady taper that emphasizes the shape's striking fluidity. Said fluidity is contrasted by crisp ridgelines and firm facets that traverse the surface of the stummel and lend a palpable rigidity to the overall form.
