American Estates: Cardinal House Morton Partially Rusticated Bent Apple with Bamboo (C22) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-009-20922

Cardinal House pipes are made by Walt Cannoy, a respected artisan whose experience in the craft goes back to the 1990s. Each of Cannoy's pipes are completely hand made and hand finished, and the Cardinal House line was specifically created to offer all of these features in a series that included artful shaping at a reasonable price. This bent Apple is one of the most striking pipes we've seen from Cannoy's brand, presenting with a lengthy and slender build that's contrasted by its distinctive and plump musculature. The stem is a sleek and easily curved saddle of warm cumberland, its base accented with a subtle, yet firm, expansion ring. Said stem is paired to the pipe via a lifting shank arrangement that sees a short length of briar taper gently out of the wide transition, immediately meeting a chubby, compressed stretch of bamboo that totals 11 knuckles of the dense grass. The extension balances the visual weight of the bowl nicely, its similar robustness sat atop a firm heel and marked by plump, arcing walls which rise to a chamfered rim. The bowl is dressed in a stacked rustication resembling a sandblast, the briar's deep ruby stain showcased in smooth sections at the rim, shank, and underside.
