American Estates: Cardinal House Hollingsworth Smooth Dublin with Silver (E15) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Cardinal House pipes are made by Walt Cannoy. All of his stummels undergo a thorough curing process, he shapes every pipe by hand, and almost exclusively uses vulcanite or cumberland stems. This Dublin by Cardinal House features a towering bowl, its walls presenting a reserved flare as they ascend from the supple heel to the taut, smooth-finished rim. Out back, the shank and stem continue the slender theme, their gentle taper from the transition to bit manifesting a sleek and balanced profile. Furthermore, the stem is fashioned from jet-black vulcanite and joins to the chestnut-stained stummel at a striking silver band. Additionally, the smooth finish on the stummel reveals a striking array of grain, most notably the mesmerizing whorls of birdseye that pool on both flanks.
