American Estates: Ryan Alden Sandblasted Bent Dublin with Amboyna Burl (King of Clubs) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-009-21188

A flourishing, organically inclined bent Dublin from Ryan Alden, this piece is bolstered by both Danish and Italian influences. The tall bowl features a flared, oval-shaped rim with a protruding fore that gives way to a vertical ridgeline, which itself softens into a slender panel along the underside. Bold and precisely shaped, the bowl is set to a gestural, gradually curling shank that's bracketed by a crisp line on the right flank and a more subtle one on the left. The Texas carver is known for his love of nature and has adorned the pipe's junction with a generous accent of amboyna burl. The smoothly rendered band stands out starkly against the rest of the shape's dark, low-profile sandblast and jet-black vulcanite mouthpiece.
