American Estates: Edward's Partially Rusticated Bulldog (50) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-009-21264

Originally a French marque, Edward's pipes have been an American staple since the late 60s or early 70s when they moved to the U.S., offering quality briar pipes at fair prices. This Bulldog is a striking piece from the brand, showcasing the profile's iconic construction details while dressing it in a wonderfully expressive finish. The shank and stem here are both diamond-shaped, the pair pushing out from a wide transition and lending the aft side a slight bit of sleekness thanks to the stem's saddle orientation. Up front, the bowl stands atop a firm heel and flares out to a high-set waist marked with a firm ridgeline, additionally denoting a taper to the rim. Dressed in a craggy partial rustication, the stummel is rich with texture throughout, the smooth areas displaying some handsome grain.
