American Estates: Edward's Smooth Billiard (2) Tobacco Pipe

Edward's pipes were all fashioned from Algerian briar, the company having cornered the market in the '60s just before Algeria's tumultuous fight for independence. The Edward's brand, then, moved machines and briar from France to the United States, reestablishing the company and continuing pipe production. Presented here is an excellent take on the Billiard, with a plump bowl and a sleekly tapering shank and stem combination. The stummel's light chestnut stain showcases handsome grain throughout and is contrasted by the stem's shimmering acrylic.
