American Estates: American Smoking Pipe Company Smooth Paneled Canadian (Regd. No.) (0583/MT) (15) (Mark Tinsky) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-009-21552

Friends since 7th grade, Mark Tinsky and Curt Rollar started the American Smoking Pipe Company together in 1978, fashioning pipes as a duo until Curt gave sole proprietorship to Mark in 1990. Designed to be quality smokers, ASPC pipes are artisan-made pieces at an accessible price point. This paneled Canadian was crafted by Mark Tinsky and boasts a firm feel in hand, its bowl standing atop a pronounced heel and growing tall to a flat rim, its thick walls surrounding a capacious chamber. These walls are lined by an octet of muscular panels, and all the musculature here draws the eye to the fore naturally, making the bowl the visual center of the pipe. The transition is wide and gives way to a long, extended, ovoid shank that tapers gently as it reaches toward a more swiftly tapering stem of black vulcanite. Dressed in a warm, light stain, the stummel showcases handsome grain throughout, with windswept flame grain across the flanks.
