This bent Sitter from Tim West was made for one of the meetings of the North American Society of Pipe Collectors (NASPC) boasts a muscular, full-bodied bowl that's posed at the fore of a high-kicking diamond shank and a steeply curved tapered stem. Subtle facets along the bowl and shank lend the totality of the form a geometric appearance in profile, as well as a unique in-hand texture. The Brandy-esque bowl rises from a flat, sure-sitting heel, one that enables the totality of the form to rest without the aid of a pipe stand. Dressed in a crisp sandblast, the stummel offers a wealth of attractive growth rings.
