American Estates: Wally Frank Giant Smooth Billiard (B) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-009-22237
One of America's oldest and most respected names in the pipe and tobacco industry, Wally Frank began operations in New York City in the 1930's. The company offered several private-label pipes crafted by makers at Charatan, Sasieni, and Weber, as well as owned the Pioneer brand of meerschaum pipes. Easily earning its "Giant" title, this Billiard from Wally Frank is a sizable rendition of the shape-chart standard. Nestled within the fore sits a capacious tobacco chamber, ensuring ample time for leisurely smoking sessions. Shape-wise, a tall cylindrical bowl is married to a sturdy shank-and-stem combination out back, the latter cut from tapered vulcanite whose inky hue pairs well to the rich, smooth finish dressing the stummel.
