American Estates: Kaywoodie Flame Grain Bent Bulldog (90s) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-009-22273
Originally a line of pipes offered by Kaufman Bros. & Bondy (KB&B,) Kaywoodie first appeared in 1919 and rather swiftly became a massive success, with the larger company going on to open offices in New York, New Jersey, and London: shipping pipes around the world. Eventually, Kaywoodie became a subsidiary brand of KB&B, and that company was acquired by S.M. Frank, Kaywoodie having been consistently produced for nearly a century throughout. This bent Bulldog by Kaywoodie possesses an elegant profile, with the form's iconic diamond shank lifting out of a wide transition, the lowermost ridgeline framing the heel. Said heel supports walls that flare out to a pair of crisp beadlines that define the waist and denote a swift taper to the rim. Dressed in a crisp tanblast and paired to a black vulcanite stem, this pipe showcases handsome grain and ample texture.
