American Estates: Edward's Smooth Freehand Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-009-22323

Originally a French marque, Edward's pipes have been an American staple since the late 60s or early 70s when they moved to the U.S., offering quality briar pipes at fair prices. This Freehand is an utterly unique one, with a knob-like bowl that's rounded at its top portion, pinched at the middle, and flares out near the bottom. The heel, however, protrudes from the underside and takes on a strikingly asymmetrical shape, and the left side features a wrapping ridge that runs from the shank to the right fore side. A wide transition pairs the bowl to a deeply curved shank and stem combination, and the stummel is finished in a deep, chestnut-hued stain that unveils handsome grain.
