American Estates: Silver Gray Sandblasted Poker (2017) Tobacco Pipe

A talented American artisan with over a decade of experience, Silver Grey crafts pipes alongside her partner Brad Pohlmann in Applegate, Oregon. Silver's design style is unique, often adorned with nontraditional materials and unique accents, but her portfolio often sees a variety of signature shapes like this Poker. The walls taper down to a sturdy, flat heel that recalls the classic Poker shape and offers a visual counterbalance to the broad, round shank that arcs in graceful Hawkbill fashion. Topping off the design is a downturned cumberland stem, its warm hue pairing nicely with the overall palette. Although this was one of Silver's earlier pieces, it retains the graceful profile that is quintessentially Silver. Dressed in a warm sandblast, the stummel showcases lovely birdseye along both flanks.
