American Estates: Carmette Pipes Sandblasted Dublin Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-009-22803

The stem of this Dublin from Carmette is on the shorter side, emphasizing the stummel's muscularity. The buff, low-set shank joins the bowl via a slightly cheeked transition. Said transition's angle is made acute by the bowl's wide flare and upright position, which brings the aft-facing rim to hang over the transitional area. Climbing the sandblasted ridges of growth rings encircling the bowl will bring one to a thick rim, beyond which lies a chamber of respectable depth. The black- and brown-brindled stem works with the unstained stummel to create an earthy color palette, one that will become richer as the stummel acquires patina with repeated smoking.
