American Estates: Workshop Sandblasted Apple Tobacco Pipe

This Apple from Workshop is a great pipe to hold in the hand. The bulbous bowl's satisfying curves invite wrapping fingers, and a uniquely shallow sandblast provides a rich texture. A wide and compressed shank grows out of the transition at a slight upward angle and is punctuated at its aft by an equally compressed saddle stem. Thin walls house a chamber of modest proportions. The stummel's warm auburn stain highlights an unbroken flow of cross grain starting from the top of the shank, going around the bowl, and continuing back across the bottom of the stummel toward the stem.
