Beginning his career in the pipe industry at the age of 16, it didn't take long for Tonni Nielsen to make a name for himself. His experience in the W.Ø. Larsen workshop, as well as his time working with legendary pipe makers like Hans "Former" Nielsen and Teddy Knudsen, led Tonni Nielsen to become a masterful artisan in his own right. With its elegant proportions and refined silhouette, this Calabash is an excellent example of Nielsen's signature style.

In classic Calabash fashion, the bowl of this offering possesses an overhanging rim, although the overhang is quite modest and not as dramatic as renditions of the shape from other pipe-making schools of design. The bowl also tilts back slightly toward the shank, continuing the sweeping momentum established by the sinuous shank-and-stem arrangement. This offering comes dressed in a warm, smooth finish and wears an Ivorite accent band at the junction. With its lengthy, gracefully bent stem, this pipe is the perfect companion for a laid-back smoking session.
