For those who love a meerschaum but don't like the wait for coloring to appear, this Rhodesian may be a neat solution, already stain a deep red perfectly matching the variegated acrylic stem. The piece has a flat heel, but is not a sitter. The smoothness of the bowl is interrupted only be a single beadline just below the ridgeline of the rim. It's a tall bowl, proudly upright rather than canted, beautifully displaying the shaping skills of AKB's Tekin Gok.
