A dynamic and gestural take on the Cherrywood design, this handsome piece from AKB keeps its overall proportions light and airy, while still packing an impressive depth of chamber. The carving along the rim emulates plateau found on briar pipes while the rest of the stummel in finished in an elaborate latticework carving with the ornate silver band along the shank end adding some elegant flash. Though this piece doesn't sit stably upon its flattened heel, the downturned stem promotes a comfortable hands-free smoking posture.
