AKB Meerschaum: Lattice Freehand (Ali) (with Case)
Product Number: 002-574-4647
A Freehand from Ali of AKB that most readily resembles a pitcher, this piece is handsomely crated, with a rich lattice carvings across the stummel and two sun shapes on either side of the bowl. The handle of the pitcher curls down off the front of the bowl, from the rim, through the heel, and across the bottom of the shank, leaving a distinctive half-circle shape in profile. The bowl itself boasts over two inches of chamber depth, a fine bit of space for those who enjoy long smoking sessions. Out back, the slightly flared shank gives way to a protracted saddle stem of orange, cream, and black, accented by bold expansion rings. This is a fine meerschaum piece for those who prefer richly detailed designs that will patinate with age and use.--Davin Hylton
