His dour expression and neatly maintained facial hair speak to a careful daily routine, and the feathered cap he wears leads me to believe that he holds a place in the military, explaining his look. The amber stem paired to the pale white stummel offers some handsome contrast, and is sure to better match its hues as this pipe patinates, giving this man even more character as he is smoked from.
