AKB Meerschaum: Carved Viking (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

I can't figure out whether this Viking is brooding preparing for battle, but he seems quite intent, either way. Perhaps he's merely concentrating on gathering his warriors for the mead hall. Rendered from solid block meerschaum, this AKB pipe is full of ornate, carved detail, from the ruffled feathers of the eagle adorning his horned helmet (a centuries-later figment of someone's imagination, as no evidence suggests Vikings wore helmets with horns) to his well-groomed beard and hair. The stummel will darken with use and age, taking on colors such as tan, golden-brown and pink, while it's all topped by a gently downturned stem adorned with stylish extension discs and rings.
