A forward-surging posture defines this Cobra-like Freehand shape. The tall, proud bowl possesses a rim that cusps at the fore of the pipe, with two subtle ridgelines wrapping around the rim and traveling downwards across the flanks of the bowl to the transition, while the bold, protruding heel further accentuates the pipe's ebbing momentum. The shank kicks out of the tight-knit transition and broadens along its abbreviated length to a bulbous end. A tapered stem of shimmering blue acrylic tops off the design, its vibrant hues providing a splash of color to the pipe's reserved palette. The stummel wears a craggy rustication that provides plenty of stimulating texture for the fingers to explore, and it should provide a wonderful canvas for patina to accumulate, with tans, browns, and even pinks arising as the pipe is smoked and enjoyed.
