This richly rendered figural shape from AKB depicts a stern looking man in a jaunty, wide-brimmed cap. As expected from the Turkish workshop, the attention to detail in this piece is exceptional, with each strand of the man's beard deftly articulated. The shank tapers gradually from the base of the man's skull before giving way to a stem of amber-hued acrylic that continues said taper. Lightweight and handsome, this piece will patinate with time and use, taking on tans, browns, and even pinks.
