AKB Meerschaum: Carved Woman (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

With a bowl nearly five inches tall, a chamber capacity over three inches deep, and measuring past nine inches in length, this figural piece from AKB Meerschaum is an awful lot of pipe. Here, one of the talented carvers at the Turkish workshop has fashioned the bowl in the likeness of a regal-looking woman with a seashell-shaped crown, flowing locks of hair, and an affectionate smile. The bowl is paired to a lengthy shank and an arcing stem of amber-hued acrylic. Striking and richly detailed, this piece offers plenty of canvas for patination, the tan, gold, and brown colors that accrue with time and use.
