AKB Meerschaum: Carved Skull (Kenan) (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

This figural from Kenan of AKB Meerschaum depicts the haunting visage of a skull, with sunken eyes, a recessed nose, and high cheekbones. It's certainly a macabre bit of craftmanship, but like all of AKB's work, it's rendered with such exacting precision and attention to detail that one can't help but admire the artistry involved. The haunting skull is paired to an upturned shank and arcing stem of jet-black acrylic for a comfortable smoking posture. With time and use, the stummel will patinate, taking on tans, browns, and even pinks for plenty of added bespoke character.
