AKB Meerschaum: Carved Floral Skull (Altay) (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

Presenting an intriguing combination of two motifs, this hearty meerschaum rendering from AKB combines skull and floral themes in one delightful display. As always with pipes from the Turkish workshop, there's lots to admire in the ornate detail carved into the porous material. The skull's jawline, eye sockets, teeth (oops, looks like he's missing one) and outstanding headdress of pretty blooming flowers are all carefully fashioned and the stummel itself is stained a golden-tan color to emulate the tones of patina. It's also topped by an amber-hued acrylic stem rife with stylish expansion discs and domes for further flourish and will smoke with a neutral flavor.
