"A Dragon in Repose", could be the title of this artfully carved meerschaum from AKB. This serpent is resting, and something about its eyes seems bashful, or perhaps repentant. It's a nice change-up of the popular "dragon holding x" motif and will develop even more stunning character as it darkens with the warm tones of patina. It's topped by a fetching amber-hued stem that turns down gently in deference to a comfortable smoking posture.
