AKB Meerschaum: Smooth Acorn (Tekin) (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

Plump and charming, this Acorn from Turkish workshop AKB Meerschaum is a lovely example of the supple shape, with a gentle curvature about its shank and stem and plenty of curves to appreciate. Mainly we see these curves at the bowl, its high-set waistline informing a domed rim, its soft contours fitting in the hand wonderfully. The fore ebbs out from a sweeping heel and pushes forward as it does, lending the pipe some subtle momentum and offering a touch of dynamism. The stylized stem of ruby hues offers some striking contrast against the pale stummel, which should patinate quite beautifully as this pipe is smoked.
