A style of bent Apple not often seen from AKB, this meerschaum piece presents with a short shank and lengthy amber stem that, itself, is possessed of a gentle downturn. The base showcases a wrapping ridgeline from the transition and upholds a pert, bulb-like bowl that has here been carved in a handsome floral motif. This style of carving is iconic to the meerschaum tradition, and its easy to see why as it is quite beautiful, additionally providing ample surfaces to accrue patination.
