AKB Meerschaum: Smooth Bulldog (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

We've seen a number of Bulldog renditions from Turkish workshop AKB, though this example strikes me as unique thanks to its wonderfully dynamic stance. The shank and stem maintain the iconic diamond shape which makes the shape so recognizable, and there's a lot less of a defined transition here, more of a sweeping curve and forward urge that keep the profile fluid and give it a Horn-like appearance. From where the transition would be, there's a bit of flare to the bowl which terminates at a pair of crisp beadlines before a slow taper to the rim starts, with the striking forward cant of the bowl lending a palpable momentum to the composition.
