A large figural meerschaum from AKB, the stummel of this pipe is stained a warm golden brown, the tones evoking the look of patination, which will continue as this piece is enjoyed over time. A riff on the popular "Dragon claw holding" motif, this piece depicts a skeletal, bony-fingered hand, its sleeve nattily dressed in lace, holding a skull. Ornately carved with much attention to detail, there's plenty of chamber depth inside the skull's head, and it's topped by a complementing amber-hued, acrylic stem, downturned for smoking comfort efficacy.
