It's rendered out of meerschaum, a lightweight, heat-resistance mineral prized for its flavor-neutral smoking properties, and like all of AKB's pipes, it showcases an immense attention to detail. The buffalo's eyes, horns, and fur are all well articulated and really breath character and life into the pipe. With time and use, the stummel will painate, taking on tans, browns, and golds for further visual appeal.
