Quite the meta design, this figural from AKB depicts a man smoking a pipe, and he in turn will end up being smoked by someone else. The attention to detail on this piece is incredible, with the man's jaunty nightcap, pipe, and long, full beard all expertly rendered. From the base of his skull, a shank curls upward into an arcing stem of amber-hued acrylic, the later of which should promotes a comfortable smoking posture. It's a sizeable, weighty design, and with time and use, it will develop the warm tans, browns, and golds of patina, coming to more fully harmonize with the mouthpiece.
