AKB Meerschaum: Lattice Bent Dublin (Tekin) (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

A bent Dublin with a sweeping form, this piece from Tekin of AKB Meerschaum showcases a striking curvature about its build, starting with the well-bent, stylized stem. Said stem displays a warm cream and amber coloration and leads into an uplifted shank with a face slightly larger than the stem base, placing a touch more emphasis on the stummel. A tightly-knit transition guides the eye to the flaring bowl which here displays a subtle forward urge, the fore wall arced quite nicely while the aft is a bit straighter. A lovely lattice pattern decorates the pale stummel, and, as a rare treat, the rim here has been fumed, darkened by Tekin to simulate patina and smoking, and doing quite well to contrast the lighter hues surrounding it.
