Intricately carved, this meerschaum Viking from AKB boasts plenty of detail, from the stern expression lent this warrior to his handsomely coiffed beard and aquiline nose. It's a common theme in meerschaum carving, with lots of variation in expression. The stummel will darken with time and use, taking on colors such as tan, golden-brown, and pink that will more fully unite with the gently downturned, amber-hued acrylic stem.
