AKB Meerschaum: Carved Devil Skull (Ali) (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

A richly detailed figural shape from AKB, this piece depicts a demonic-looking skull with empty eye sockets, a recessed nose, and high cheekbones. A pair of ram-like horns curl out and around the side of the cranium, originating from its brow, making for a particularly frightening image when viewed at any angle. The subtly-lifted shank extends from the base of the skull before giving way to a saddle stem of orange and cream-hued acrylic. The stummel has been stained a golden-brown color that resembles the natural patina that accrues on meerschaum pipes with time and use.
