AKB Meerschaum: Carved Indian Skull (Ali) (with Case) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-574-6334
Rich figural designs are common in the world of meerschaum pipes, and AKB renders exquisite, intricately carved pieces with plenty of charm. This particular rendition features a sunken-eyed skull wearing a Native American headdress, with the grim character of the skull and the fine details of the feathered headdress deftly articulated. The tobacco chamber is housed in the top of the skull, while the trim shank ebbs away out back, slightly upturned to meet the stem. Stained to imitate the patina that naturally occurs after meerschaum pipes have been smoked for some time, this piece is topped off by an arcing saddle stem of cream and orange acrylic.
