AKB Meerschaum: Carved Coloring Bowl Tobacco Pipe

Coloring bowls have been around for at least 150 years and are designed to evenly distribute patina across a meerschaum pipe's surface. The cork lined base of a coloring bowl plugs into the bowl of a pipe, creating a seal that essentially turns the pipe into a Calabash, enabling a better distribution of smoke, heat, and the resulting patina. This particular coloring bowl from AKB features a softly inflated rim and an intricately carved texture that mimics the aesthetics of AKB's pipes.
