AKB Meerschaum: Carved Floral Rhodesian (H. Ege) (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

A lengthy rendition of the Rhodesian shape, this piece from AKB meerschaum features a tall, muscular bowl with a domed rim and a gradual downward taper to a firm heel. Out back, the shank kicks away from the low-set transition and marries an arcing stem of amber-hued acrylic that features several expansion rings at its base, drawing attention to its vibrant hues in profile. The stummel has been carved in a floral motif that covers the flanks of the bowl in depictions of flowers. With time and use, the stummel will patinate, taking on tans, browns, and golds to more fully harmonize with the mouthpiece.
