AKB Meerschaum: Carved Dragon (Ali) (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

This large meerschaum from AKB boasts many alluring elements, including an impressively deep chamber and stylish stem. The workshop carves the stummels of their pipes with ornate detail, with this piece being a fine example. The meerschaum has been stained a golden brown, evoking the warm tones of patination that are accrued on the porous mineral as it's smoked over time. A fire-breathing dragon is depicted in this rendition, its front claws curled and holding onto a rocky precipice upon which it's perched. The bowl and muscular shank also offer lots of textural appeal via its numerous, carved ridges.
