AKB Meerschaum: Carved Floral Bent Billiard (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

A high-reaching bent Billiard rendition from AKB Meerschaum, this piece showcases an extended stretch of stylish amber stem that's poised for easy clenching and comfortable smoking. This stem pushes out of a stepped shank end that's adorned with a broad band of silvery metal, the shank itself rounded by a knotwork carving that's flanked by a pair of notched patterns. The rest of the stummel, and especially the bowl, is carved in a display of blossoming flowers, with three blooms across the bowl, one on the heel, and one at the underside of the shank, all framed by intricate leaves and fronds, making full use of the bowl's height to showcase these patterns. Dressed in a muted tan hue, the stummel is quite handsome already, though will acquire a bespoke patina as it is smoked, enhancing its charm.
