AKB Meerschaum: Carved Floral Churchwarden (H. Ege) (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

We've seen a good deal of Churchwardens from AKB Meerschaum in the past, though the floral renditions of this extended shape are a bit more uncommon, though by no means rare. This particular example is quite a unique one, with a Dublin bowl that showcases a domed, inflated rim marked by a single beadline and the rim itself carved in intricate knot work patterns. The body of the bowl displays a pair of wheel-like carving on either flank, with the center of each being a divoted dome that's surrounded by a similar knot work carving, all framed by a wrapping wealth of fronds. A trim shank, showcasing more of the aforementioned fronds, leads to the iconic stem of the shape, its protracted taper of amber acrylic contrasting the pale stummel handsomely.
