AKB Meerschaum: Lattice Bent Dublin (Ali) (with Tamper and Case) Tobacco Pipe

A dramatic flare possesses the robust bowl of this bent Dublin from Ali of AKB Meerschaum, immediately reminding me of those seen in the Italian neoclassical school of design. The shank and stem are much more slender, comparatively, and the tapered stem of amber acrylic continues a taper present through the shank, downturning at the bit for a comfortable smoking posture and elegant disposition. The pale white surface of the stummel has been carved in an intricate lattice pattern that not only offers a wonderfully engaging design, but a wealth of subtle texture and an excellent surface for future patination.
