A large pipe that yet maintains manageability and comfort in hand, this meerschaum rendering from Kenan of AKB is stained a golden-brown to emulate the warm tones of patination. The wolf motif is a prevalent one in meerschaum pipe making, though it's not often we come across a full sculptural rendering like this one; usually the animal's head/bust is displayed. Here, the wolf is depicted atop an outcropping, ears pricked alertly forward.
