This rendition of the common meerschaum motif of a dragon claw holding something or other has a wonderful twist: Rather than just the talons holding an egg, this rendition from AKB features the clever, winged serpent hatching from said egg. What an alluring variation! The little baby dragon is crawling out of the egg shell, its talons still taking ahold of it, whilst he cautiously comes out, his dragon wings and everything else at the ready. The stummel is stained a warm, golden tan, emulating the colors of patination, and it's topped by a complementing amber-hued acrylic stem.
