Quite a stylized rendition of the ghoulish visage mankind presents without flesh, this piece from AKB Meerschaum presents the skull of a Native American individual whose remaining features speak to a reserved playfulness. Its mouth is stretched in a wide grin, and its cranium is surrounded by flowing locks that have been cinched tight by a traditionally-inspired headband. This piece offers plenty of detail that will patinate handsomely as it is smoked, and the amber stem offers contrast to the pale stummel with the promise to better match once the pale mineral patinates.
