This figural design from AKB depicts a stoic-looking man with a full, bushy beard and a jaunty cap. The skills of AKB's carvers are on full display with this piece, as each aspect of the shape is rendered with the upmost attention to detail, from the man's furrowed brow to the hair peaking out from the back of his cap. The shank kicks high from the base of man's skull and climbs upward before giving way to a steeply curved stem of amber-hued acrylic. With time and use, the man will accrue the warm tans, browns, and golds of patina, deepening the man with character.
