This meerschaum from AKB depicts a softer take on the common "dragon claw holding" motif. Here, the serpent's claws seem to be lovingly holding a blooming rose, the petals, along with all the other carved elements rendered with much attention to detail. The pale, porous stummel will smoke with a neutral flavor and darken with warm tones of patina as it's smoked over time, coming to more fully be complemented by the stylish, orange and cream-hued acrylic stem.
