AKB Meerschaum: Spot Carved Bent Apple (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

Meerschaum pipes have been made almost exclusively in Turkey since the 1970s, when the Turkish government banned the exportation of the mineral, the finest of which is found in the Eskişehir region of that country. In this AKB example, rather than dressing the stummel in a detailed figural carving that's commonly seen among meers, a modern Apple shape has been rendered, smooth except for a few patches of spot carving and shapely in hand. It's paired to a dark acrylic mouthpiece that's turned downward for a comfortable smoking posture.
