Characterized by a forward-leaning, bulbous bowl, this Acorn meerschaum from AKB is a delightful take on the high-waisted, supple form. Displaying the form's traditional downward taper, this particular rendition, with its outwardly protruding bowl, foot and high-kicking, nearly vertical shank and stem, brings to mind a few nuances of the Cavalier shape. The stummel is wearing a fetching clam-shell pattern for a change of pace and will darken with the warm tones of patina as it's enjoyed over time.
