Abe Herbaugh: Sandblasted Bent Egg with Horn Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-614-0092
A combination of Scoop-like gesture and an easy sense of curve seems to be the recipe for this bent Egg shape from Abe Herbaugh, with a bit of cheeky substance up front towards the bowl. This is emphasized by way of the neatest of subtle transitions, followed by an even gentler sense of flare about the shank to guide the eye a fantastic stretch of horn. Indeed, Abe managed to find some of the creamiest stuff he could, pairing it to a dark, dark sandblast, and complementing it with a gentle slip of a saddle stem, the likes of which sport a Gladiolus bulb stem base. A fetching piece from the carver.
